How do you convert VTS files?

Use a free video converter to convert VTS files to MP4, AVI and other media types. The Video_Ts folder, often called VTS, contains the disc's video data. Use Freemake Video Converter to convert this data into a compatible video file for playback on a computer or a mobile device.
- Download Freemake Video Converter
Download the video converter from the Freemake website. Run the executable file, and follow the instructions for installation. Afterward, run the program.
- Insert a DVD
Insert the DVD you want to convert into your computer's disc tray. If it automatically plays, close the video player.
- Configure the settings
In Freemake, click the +DVD icon to open the Browse for Folder window. Navigate to the DVD drive, and select the Video_Ts folder. Click OK. Next, select your conversion format, and choose a save location in the Save window. Browse the additional Freemake settings, and make any other adjustments before converting your video.
- Convert the video data
Press the Convert button to start the conversion process. Converting VTS to AVI or another media type takes a while, depending on the length of the movie and the quality settings you choose. A confirmation message appears once Freemake completes the task.
