Is the correlation between eye color and peripheral vision a good science project idea?

The relationship between eye color and peripheral vision is a fairly simple and inexpensive idea for a science project. Using a homemade vision protractor, the peripheral vision of several subjects with different eye colors can be tested and charted to see if any correlation is noted.

The subjects should be tested several times to attain an average score for each. For consistent results, each subject should be tested using the same protractor, test objects and lighting. No convincing evidence exists showing a correlation between visual acuity and eye color, but the experiment can still be effective and informative, even if no correlation is found.
