Could a vehicle's dashboard warning lights be faulty?
By Forinfos - 25/06/2025 - 0 comments
It is possible the warning lights on a vehicle's dashboard are caused by a faulty sensor or a broken wire. If a warning light begins flashing on the dashboard, it is best to bring in the vehicle for a check up to rule out a faulty warning light.
Ignoring a legitimate warning light could potentially result in permanent damage to the vehicle. For example, the oil warning light warns the driver that oil temperature is getting too high, the oil level is low, or oil pressure is too low. Low oil pressure prevents the oil pump from spraying and lubricating the engine, resulting in severe engine damage.
