Crossword Compiler is a software program created and published by WordWeb Software. It allows users to create crossword puzzles, word searches and other games for both printing and for online use.
Crossword Compiler requires Windows XP or newer to run. It runs on a Macintosh by using a virtual machine such as Virtual Box or Parallels Desktop. Puzzles can be created automatically from a word list or can be created entirely by the user from scratch.
The software comes packaged with a license for use on one website. Use on additional websites requires an extra fee. A demo version is available at the official web site.
