The River Operations Report published by the Lower Colorado River Authority at Hydromet.LCRA.org tracks the current water level of Lake Travis, as well as several other nearby lakes. As of Oct. 21, 2015, the lake level of Lake Travis is nearly 665 feet above sea level.
Lake Travis is an artificial lake along the Colorado River near Austin, Texas, in Travis County. The lake, which is roughly 65 miles long, has a capacity of 1.95 million acre feet and a surface area of 18,930 acres. The Mansfield Dam, completed by the Lower Colorado River Authority and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in 1942, created the lake.
