Where was David James Elliot's wedding?

David James Elliott and wife Nanci Chambers were wed in a civil ceremony in a Los Angeles, California courthouse in 1992. Elliott was a struggling actor at the time and the wedding was very modest.

Although their original wedding was just a simple civil ceremony, the couple planned to renew their wedding vows with a much more extravagant ceremony. Eventually they did, seven years later in Santa Barbara, California with a large, up-scale celebration. The wedding was held at the well known Hope Ranch. The lavish ceremony boasted 200 attendees and was the polar opposite of their initial vows at the courthouse.
