What is a DecoSonic convection oven?

The Decosonic convection oven is a portable convection oven that was marketed at a lower price than standard convection ovens. It was made by Canadian company Decosonic, which does not appear to have an Internet presence and does not appear to continue to support the product.

The company advertised the oven as consuming less than half the electricity of a conventional oven while cooking food 20 to 60 percent faster. The oven came equipped with a dual-height rack, and some of the later models had a removable bowl.

As of February 2015, Decosonic appears to be out of business. The company does not have a web page, and only a handful of used Decosonic products are available on Amazon.
