What is a default browser?
By Forinfos - 01/05/2025 - 0 comments
The default browser is the Web browser that is automatically used when opening a Web page or clicking on a link. For example, if Google Chrome is the default browser and a link is clicked, it opens in Google Chrome and not Internet Explorer.
All browsers have the ability to configure themselves as the operating system's default, ensuring that the opening of any future links are done in that particular browser. Most browsers, when opened for the first time, have a message about setting themselves as the default browser. By saying yes to that message, it is possible to change the default browser.
