What is "Define Ext"?

"Define Ext" is an adware web browser extension for Internet Explorer that places advertisements on webpages in exchange for the ability to look up the meaning of English words. The program is bundled with Premium Installer's Optimum Installer and is distributed through numerous adware download installers.

Most users vote that "Define Ext" is adware and should be uninstalled, according to Should I Remove It?. To remove "Define Ext" in Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8: click the Start menu, go to Control Panel and click Programs. Click Uninstall a Program, locate "Define Ext" in the programs list and click Uninstall. Follow the prompts and wait for the progress bar to finish removing the utility.
