What is the definition of a product range?
By Forinfos - 15/03/2025 - 0 comments
The product range, or product line, is a collection of products sold by the same manufacturer that are aimed at different segments of the market. All of the product in the range are connected, but some may be designed to attract teenagers while others may focus on older customers.
The market segment the company is aiming for may not just be age-related but could also be aimed at different income brackets. The line may consist of similar products, such as different eyeliners, for different market segments, but can also have different products. A pizza company may make many different pizza-related products, such as garlic bread, breadsticks or pasta.
