What are Delta Airline's checked bag requirements?

Delta Airline requires that all checked bags weigh 50 pounds (23 kilograms) or less and not exceed 62 inches (157 centimeters) when totaling length, width and height. Any baggage that exceeds these limits is considered "special baggage" and requires additional fees.

In the United States and Canada, unless the passenger is traveling Delta One, first class or business class, the first checked bag costs $25, and the second is $35. Delta Airline is not responsible for damaged luggage after check in. One bag and one item is permitted for carry on. There are no weight restrictions for a carry-on, but it may not exceed 22 inches x 14 inches x 9 inches.
