Who developed the Tanki online free games?

"Tanki Online" is developed by AlternativaPlatform. The group originally consisted of only two members but has expanded as the game has grown and gained more players.

Anton Volkov and Alexander Karpovich are the founding members of AlternativaPlatform and the lead designers. Development of "Tanki Online" first began in the late 1990s as "Tanks For Two," a simple two-dimensional game that only allowed two players. The demo for the game that would become "Tanki Online" was not completed until 2008. "Tanki Online" grew to 10 million players by 2012, and AlternativaPlatform took on more staff as it grew. As of March 2015, the game is still being updated regularly.
