What are some dictionaries of hyphenated words?

Two examples of hyphenation dictionaries are the Hunspell Online Hyphenation Tool and the Moby Hyphenator. Created for use by singers, the Moby Hyphenator is a downloadable program that allows you to upload a block of text you want hyphenated. You can also check a standard dictionary.
Linguists disagree about hyphenation rules, so dictionaries many differ from each other.
Some word processors hyphenate words at the end of lines automatically, and a few of these allow you to choose between hyphenation methods and further customize hyphenation in your text.
For compounds, make sure to use and up-to-date dictionary. Compounds tend to start as separate words, take on hyphens, then finally close up as a single word.
