Carole King released "Now and Forever" on her "Colour of Your Dreams" album in 1993. She wrote and performed the song in 1992 for the movie, "A League of Their Own," and the song appears on the soundtrack. "Now and Forever" landed King an Academy Award nomination.
King's music career took off in the 1960s, as she wrote music with her future husband, Gerry Goffin. By 1970, she had divorced her husband, attempted to form a rock group and was moving on to record her own solo albums. From 1970 to 1994, she released 12 albums, winning four Grammy Awards for her 1971 album.
