Where did Dr. David Perlmutter receive his neurology degree?

Dr. David Perlmutter actually attended the University of Miami School of Medicine to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree, rather than in neurology specifically, and he did a neurology residency there afterwards. He also attended Lafayette College prior to medical school. His work focuses on brain disorder treatment, and he practices a holistic approach and puts heavy weight on preventative medicine. He is based in Naples, Fla.

Perlmutter is an author who also is an associate professor and guest lecturer. Some of his books include "Power Up Your Brain: The Neuroscience of Enlightenment" and "The Better Brain Book." He has also appeared on Larry King Live, The Today Show, CNN and several other programs.
