There were four eclipses in 2010, according to NASA, with the first being an annular solar eclipse on January 15. Of the four eclipses in 2010, two were solar eclipses and two were lunar eclipses.
The rest of the eclipses that 2010 held were a partial lunar eclipse on June 26, a total solar eclipse on July 11 and a total lunar eclipse on December 21. The first eclipse occurred in western Sagittarius at the moon's ascending node. It was seen in eastern Asia, central Africa and the Indian Ocean. The eclipse started at 5:14 Universal Time in the westernmost part of Central African Republic.
