Where did the Incas settle?

The Incas settled in the Andes Mountains and on the Pacific coast of South America. They settled the area between 13,000 and 10,000 BC.

The Incas settled the areas after they crossed the Bering Strait on their way from Asia. After settling the areas, they learned how to grow and cultivate vegetation. They also domesticated animals such as llamas and sheep which served as a source of food and textile. The civilization began to rapidly decline in the 1500s, as diseases such as smallpox took effect. Civil war also broke out in the 1500s, which also contributed to the decline of the people.
