How did Mr. Perfect, the wrestler, die?

Mr. Perfect, the wrestler, died of an acute cocaine intoxication on Feb. 10, 2003 in Tampa, Fla. In real life, his name was Curt Hennig.

According to family members, steroids and painkillers also contributed to his death. He was in Tampa to wrestle in a lightly attended match at the Florida State Far with Jimmy Hart's All-Star Wrestling show. Previously, he had enjoyed a storied career with the World Wrestling Federation, World Championship Wrestling and the American Wrestling Association. Hennig belonged to a long line of wrestlers that includes his son, Curtis Axel, and his father Larry "The Axe" Hennig.
