Where did the shape of Toblerone originate?

The shape of Toblerone's candy is based on a pyramid shape. The original owner modeled it after a line of French dancers who formed a pyramid at the end of their performances.
Jean Tobler founded a chocolate company in 1899, which came under the leadership of Theodor Tobler in 1900. Along with Emil Bauman, Theodor Tobler created Toblerone, a unique, triangle-shaped chocolate bar, in 1908. The name of the bar is a combination of the family name and the Italian word for honey and almond nougat. Initially, it was believed that the candy was modeled after the Matterhorn, but the Toblerone website indicates that Theodor chose the name after being inspired by Parisian dancers.
