When did Sheila Jackson Lee photograph the Mars Rover?

Sheila Jackson Lee did not photograph the Mars Rover. In 2005, when visiting the Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a member of the House Science Committee, she asked the guide if the Rover had taken a photograph of the American flag planted by Neil Armstrong.

Representative Lee was apparently unaware of the fact that Neil Armstrong had planted a flag on the moon, not Mars. As of 2014, she is the Democratic congresswoman that represents the 18th district of Texas. She was first elected to office in 1994. During her tenure in Congress, opponents have accused her of having a volatile temper and an "entitlement mentality."
