Why didn't Pink Floyd have a reunion concert for their 2014 album release?

Pink Floyd did not have a reunion tour for its 2014 album "The Endless River" because David Gilmore refused, and Rick Wright and Roger Waters were not a part of the record's production. The biggest factor was Gilmore's lack of interest and his already scheduled tour for his solo album.
The album is mostly instrumental and a tribute to the bands founding keyboardist Rick Wright who passed away from cancer in 2008. Wright's recorded tracks from the 1993 Division Bell sessions mixed with new guitar and drum tracks from guitarist Gilmore and drummer Nick Mason. Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters was not involved because he split with the band in 1985 and relations have remained cold.
