What are the differences between the Pantheon and the Parthenon?

While both the Pantheon and the Parthenon are classical temples, the Pantheon is located in Rome, whereas the Parthenon is located in Athens. The Parthenon, which was completed in 432 B.C., is also considerably older than the Pantheon, which was constructed at the order of the Roman Emperor Hadrian in 120 A.D.
Another difference between these two ancient structures pertains to their purpose. The Parthenon was dedicated to the goddess Athena, while the Pantheon was more comprehensively dedicated to all of the classical gods; hence its name, which is derived from the Greek words "pan," meaning "all," and "theos," meaning "god."
Both structures were built to replace earlier temples
