Some different IKEA bunk beds include the Mydal and Norddal. The Svarta comes as a loft or bunk bed, and customers can purchase a separate pull-out bed or desk top to go along with the loft frame.

Both the Mydal and Norddal are made of solid pine, fit twin mattresses and have ladders that users can mount on either the left or right side. The Norddal features stained wood and can be disassembled to create two separate beds. The Svarta is made of steel and has a silver finish. IKEA suggests that children less than age 6 not sleep on the top bed because of the risk of falling out.
