The 2015 Prius c has a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, an electric motor and an automatic transmission. It gets 53 miles per gallon in the city and 46 miles per gallon on the highway.

The 2016 Prius has a four-cylinder engine and two electric motors with an automatic transmission. It gets 54 miles per gallon in the city and 50 miles per gallon on the highway.
