What are some different types of flagpole lights?

In-ground, above-ground, down lighting and solar lights are some types of flagpole lights. Small spotlights, floodlights and LED lights are also often used as flagpole lights.

Down lights, which are among the most commonly used flagpole lights, may be either solar, electric or battery-powered. Small spotlights may additionally be used for horizontal flagpoles or as down lights. These LED lights are fitted with reflectors and are water- and dust-resistant. They fasten to the flagpole with stainless steel fasteners and are easy to incline and focus on the flag. In-ground flagpole lights are ideal for flagpoles up to 45 feet high and may be used with other types of lighting, depending on the location.
