Wedding gift registry finders include RegistryFinder.com and The Knot. Both registry finders are free to use, and they search registries from a variety of online stores.

RegistryFinder.com requires entering at least part of the first and last name and selecting the type of registry. The user selects wedding, and then enters at least two letters from the first name and two letters from the last name. If nothing comes up, letters from the other person's name may work, as may proper names instead of nicknames.

To search The Knot, the user enters the first and last name as well as the month and year of the wedding. Some registries are found without the dates.
