As of August 2014, former figure skater and Olympic gold medalist Dorothy Hamill is married to John MacColl. MacColl is her third husband, and the two were married in 2009. Hamill was previously married to Dean Paul Martin in 1982 and to Kenneth Forsythe in 1987.

In addition to her acclaim as an Olympic gold medalist figure skater, Hamill has also won a Daytime Emmy for her role in a figure-skating production of "Romeo and Juliet." In 2007, she released an autobiography titled "A Skating Life: My Story." She also appeared as a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2013.
