Who is E.D. Hill?

E.D. Hill is a journalist and news presenter for CNN. She was previously employed at Fox News Channel, but was fired after making a controversial statement comparing President Barack Obama's fist bump to a "terrorist fist jab."

E.D. Hill became the center of controversy in June 2008, after her comments regarding a victory gesture between Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle. Hill's show, "America's Pulse," was canceled, and Fox News suspended Hill, eventually terminating her contract in Nov. 2008. In Feb. 2011, Hill joined "In the Arena," a CNN show hosted by Eliot Spitzer. As of Nov. 6, 2015, Hill appears as a presenter on "CNN Newsroom."
