How do you get Easter egg dye off skin?

Washing with soap or detergent rarely removes Easter egg dye from skin. While some people recommend cleaning with toothpaste, this does not work well either. Vinegar is an excellent option since it is used to dissolve the dye packs in the first place.

1. Pour baking soda into the stained hands

   Pour baking soda across the palm of one of the hands stained with Easter egg dye.

2. Make the cleaning solution

   Pour or spritz vinegar on to the baking soda in the stained palm. The solution will start to bubble. Rub hands together lightly to spread mixture.

3. Rinse the hands

   Rinse the hands normally. The combination of vinegar and baking soda should remove the dye.
