What are some Edhead games for 2nd graders?

As of 2015, Simple Machines and The Compound Machine are Edhead's games for students in grades two through six. Simple Machines helps students identify simple and compound machines. The Compound Machine provides practice with understanding and predicting forces.

Simple Machines was the first game that Edheads created. Edheads is a non-profit organization whose games teach children about science, math and careers. These web-based games are free to teachers, students and parents. The games require a computer with a sound card, speakers, an updated browser and Adobe Flash Player. Due to the games' in-depth graphics, they can be slow to download, especially on a computer with a slow Internet connection.
