Does EIA have updated power lines maps?

The U.S. Energy Information Administration publishes maps of national and state power lines at EIA.gov. The agency displays only lines with voltage of 345 kilovolts or higher.

From the EIA home page, visitors select Geography and then click Maps. Under U.S. Energy Mapping System on the right side of the page, visitors select Electricity. The default map shows all power plants and major electric transmission lines across the United States.

Users can display more or less information by checking the relevant boxes under Layers/Legend. To see information for states and territories, visitors can zoom in on the national map or select a location from the dropdown menu near the top of the page.
