Who is eligible to shop at the Navy Exchange online?

Active duty and retired members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible to shop at the Navy Exchange online. Honorably discharged veterans, dependents of qualified personnel, and commissioned officers of the Public Health Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration are also eligible.

In order to shop online at the Navy Exchange, eligible users must have a valid ID number with the U.S. Department of Defense. Users need this number to create an account on the Navy Exchange website but not to log in to an existing account or make a purchase at the time of checkout.
