What is an end-of-lease letter to a landlord?
By Forinfos - 11/12/2025 - 0 comments
An end-of-lease letter serves as a notice letter addressed to the landlord by the tenant at the end of a lease, declaring the tenant's intentions of moving out. A tenant writes this letter when there is no intention of renewing the lease.
In this letter, a tenant gives a notice of vacating as provided in the tenancy agreement. Most agreements require a tenant to give a 30-day notice. The letter includes the tenant's new address and a telephone number in case the landlord wants to ask questions. Also, a tenant may use the letter to request for deposits paid when moving in.
