What are the enemies of the anglerfish?

Humans are the main enemy of anglerfish. While these predatory fish are believed to be at the top of the food chain in their natural environment, many species are fished commercially. They are said to taste like lobster and their livers are considered a delicacy in Japan and Korea.
There are about 200 species of anglerfish. They get their name from their use of fleshy growths on their foreheads as lures for other fish. They can reach over 3 feet in length and 100 pounds in weight, but are usually much smaller. Females take up to six years to mature, making the species vulnerable to overfishing.
