How energy efficient are Electrolux refrigerators?

As of 2015, Electrolux offers over 30 Energy-Star qualified refrigerators that exceed federal, minimum energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent, a rate nearly three times that of most qualified models. Energy-Star qualified refrigerators are generally only 9 to 10 percent more energy efficient than models that meet minimum standards.

This high-efficiency standard in addition to extensive support of projects promoting energy efficiency helped make Electrolux a 2015 Energy Star Partner of the Year. Energy Star is a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency voluntary program. Energy Star helps businesses and individuals save money and protect the climate through superior energy efficiency.
