How does erosion affect landforms?

Erosion affects landforms by reshaping or creating new features across the globe. The main agents of soil erosion are water, wind and living things.
One of the ways in which erosion affects landforms can be observed when a river expands its banks while deepening at the same time. Some rivers may even form new attributes due to soil erosion.
Another example of the effects of erosion can be observed when a fertile land goes barren. Due to the moving away of the top layer of soil, the area can not produce vegetation, leading to the formation of a desert or semi-desert.
