The diesel version of the 2015 Audi Q7 gets an Environmental Protection Agency-estimated 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. The gas version gets an EPA-estimated 16 mpg city and 22 mpg highway.
The second generation Audi Q7 was introduced in 2015. In a press release, Audi announced that the redesigned Audi Q7's engine consumed 26 percent less fuel on average. The increased efficiency of the engine and its lightweight construction reduced fuel consumption by as much as 23 percent on the direct injection version and 28 percent on the fuel-stratified injection version. Audi engineers shed 716.5 pounds from the vehicle, making the new Audi Q7 the lightest in its class.
