What is the explanation for the poem "Mending Wall" by Robert Frost?

Robert Frost's poem "Mending Wall" looks at all forms of segregation in the world, as it does not point to racial segregation, and the way that the struggle to continually separate people from one another is futile and destined to fail. The poem also looks at boundaries.

It raises the question as to what boundaries are necessary, and what boundaries exist purely as a form of tradition rather than a need or desire on the part of people. In the poem, there are two neighbors who build a wall between their plots of land though they have many problems with this wall as it falls down or is damaged constantly and has to be repaired.
