What is an eyelash perm?

An eyelash perm is a treatment that keeps eyelashes curled for up to three months. Curled eyelashes tend to appear longer than straight eyelashes and can also give the appearance of larger, more open eyes.

Eyelash perms are administered by wrapping the eyelashes with mini rollers using an adhesive. An aesthetician then applies the perm solution to the eyelashes carefully while the client keeps her eyes closed. After a set period of time, the aesthetician uses a neutralizing solution and rinses off the eyelashes. The perm lasts until the eyelashes grow out, which can be between four weeks and three months depending on the client's lash cycle.
