As of 2015, Family Dollar sells Tracfone and Net 10 Wireless cellphones. It offers handsets from major brands like Alcatel, Huwei, ZTE, LG, Motorola, and Samsung in basic and smartphone styles.

Basic flip-phone models with Internet access cost the least of those offered. Features available on more expensive phones include a QWERTY keyboard, a camera, a slider, an MP3 player and a touch screen. Because price increases with additional features, smartphones are the most expensive models available. As of 2015, prices range from $20 to $200. All smartphones currently available run on the Android operating system. Family Dollar also sells pre-paid monthly wireless service and phone accessories.
