Where can you view your own Genographic 2.0 results?
By Forinfos - 17/06/2025 - 0 comments
Participants in the Genographic Project, including the users of Geno 2.0, can view the results through a special page on the National Geographic website. The individual’s Genographic Project ID Code is required to access the information.
Results of Geno 2.0 tests are available from six to eight weeks after the lab receives a participant’s DNA samples. The results can only be viewed online.
Dr. Spencer Wells, National Geographic explorer-in-residence, leads the multiyear research initiative seeking to better understand human genetic roots. Participants purchase the Geno 2.0 DNA Ancestry Kit, which includes cheek swabs and instructions, and are assigned ID Codes used for retrieving the test results.
