What is a preschooler?
By Forinfos - 19/03/2026 - 0 comments
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a preschooler is a child between the ages of 3 and 5. The difference between a preschooler and a toddler is that the preschooler attends a regular early child care program and learns personal and academic skills.
The term "preschool" is used to describe the academic setting children attend prior to kindergarten. Preschool includes programs run through local school districts, which are sometimes subsidized by state governments, as well as independent programs operated by early childhood centers. A preschooler learns social, emotional and behavioral skills along with age-appropriate reading, writing and arithmetic.
