Being famous for its chocolate making, Switzerland has numerous popular brands of chocolate, but Lindt brand chocolates are among the most well-known throughout the world. Lindt is a Swiss chocolatier founded in 1845.

Since its founding, Lindt has produced high quality chocolates that are sold and appreciated not only in Switzerland but throughout the world.

According to Top Switzerland, other famous Swiss chocolate brands are Toblerone and Nestlé. Toblerone is a triangular chocolate bar with nougat, almonds and honey. Nestlé is a massive brand that sells many products but also sells Kit Kats and basic milk chocolate chips, which are used worldwide in chocolate chip cookies.
