Professional wrestler Superstar Billy Graham, WWWF heavyweight champion from 1977 to 1978, is from Phoenix, Arizona. In addition, the professional wrestling tag team Brianna and Nicole Garcia-Colace, better known as Brie and Nikki Bella, grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Henry Cejudo is a freestyle wrestler, not a professional one, but he also hails from Arizona. Cejudo is originally from Los Angeles, California, but he grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2008, he won the gold medal in wrestling at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and, as of 2015, is the youngest recipient of the medal.
