What is a fast math student?

This refers to a student being taught with the Fluency and Automaticity through Systematic Teaching and Technology (FASTT) curriculum. FASTT is a new approach to math for 2nd grade and up that teaches math according to individual student needs and paces their learning accordingly.

FASTT uses games and targeted learning to cater to the needs of each student. Each lesson learned is reinforced with interactive practice and games, and students can chart their own progress as they advance. The goal of FASTT is to give teachers a better way to teach math while helping students learn math and use it quickly and proficiently.
