Joe Biden was the featured guest on the Sept. 7, 2008, episode of "Meet the Press." The host, Tom Brokaw, interviewed him concerning the presidential race in which he ran for vice president.

Shortly after the 249th episode of "Meet the Press" on Nov. 2, 2008, Barack Obama and Joe Biden won the election against John McCain and Sarah Palin.
