Is there a fee to file taxes using MyBlock for Android?

People can not do their taxes through H&R Block's MyBlock mobile application; instead, they need to use the H&R Block website or visit a nearby location, and fees may apply. As of March 2015, H&R Block allows people to file a basic federal tax return online or in office for free; however, they still need to pay for the state tax return. More complicated returns, such as those for the self-employed or for businesses, come with a fee for both federal and state returns.

Although people can't file their taxes through the app, they can use it to estimate their tax refunds, schedule an appointment with H&R Block, upload tax documents to the company or find out what their refund status is. The app itself is free to use.
