Does Fiji Water actually come from Fiji?

The manufacturer sources Fiji Water directly from Viti Levu in the Fiji Islands. The islands, located 1,600 miles from the nearest continent in the Pacific Ocean, are home to the Sovi Basin, an underground aquifer and the source of Fiji bottled water.

Rain in the tropical rain forests flows over volcanic rock, infusing the water with natural electrolytes and minerals. The water filters into the natural artesian aquifer below the surface of the earth where the manufacturer collects the water at its source. Fiji water is free from human contact during the bottling process, and the aquifer’s layers of rock shield the water from external elements.
