The purpose of the Fleetguard filter cross reference is to be able to take a filter's Fleetguard number and interchange it. To get to the interchange guide, there are specific instructions users must follow exactly.

Users can enter as many as 10 original equipment manufacturer or competitive numbers and check them simultaneously. After entering all of the numbers the user wants to cross reference, they should click on the search button to get the matches. In the search results, all of the filter numbers have a link. Once the user clicks on the link, they get more information, including a filter photo, common applications, thread sizes and dimensions and replacement part numbers.
