What are the best foods to eat for thyroid health?
By Forinfos - 11/05/2025 - 0 comments
The minerals that are widely considered to be good for the thyroid are selenium and thiamine, which are found in seafood, proteins and dairy. Certain foods may negatively impact the thyroid and should be avoided.
Other foods that contain selenium include seafood, shellfish, eggs, beef liver and kidneys, wheat germ, sesame seeds, Brazil nuts, mushrooms and garlic. A more extensive list of foods that contain thiamine include milk, enriched cereals and enriched vegetables. The thyroid can also be affected negatively by cruciferous vegetables, such as cauliflower, cabbage and broccoli, soy and goitrogens found in soy beans, pine nuts and peanuts.
